Hallelujah! Spring is finally here. It is very rainy here in Oshkosh, but I love it because that means the snow melts away and the flowers start to bloom! Easter has come and gone and left me with an ear infection! For once it is me and not the girls. Speaking of the girls, Mercedes has gone back to school after Easter break and Shaylee is definitely walking. Here is a video of last night (03/30/08) when she took 7 steps completely on her own.
For Easter, Mercedes, Shaylee and I went to Grandma and Grandpa Trojan's for the weekend. Michael had to work as usual. Someday I hope to have an Easter with him in it. Here are some pictures.....
Mercedes is helping Grandma T. put the silverware away after the dishwasher has cleaned them. Isn't she a good helper??? She like to help mom with that at home too.
Mommy loves to dress the girls in matching dresses on special occasions. For Easter she found some cute dresses that weren't pink. Shaylee loves to sit on the little couch with her big sister.
To the horror of her mother, Shaylee received yet ANOTHER stuffed animal for her collection. Hopefully it will be her last. But as you can see, she absolutely loves it. Now her and Mercedes each have a giant bunny to snuggle with. I don't think they need any more. (Hint Hint to you grandparents out there.......no more stuffed animals please!)
Shaylee LOVES the kitties, so much so that she hugs and squishes them. Lindbergh here tolerates it for a bit, and then he leaves....here is a video of it too...
A few weeks ago Michael took the girls and visited Grandma and Grandpa S for a couple of days. I stayed home and took a much needed break. Here is a video of Shaylee talking with Oscar the cat...Oscar thinks she is playing and he wonders why she won't open the door for him!
